You can find out the legal requirements for homeschooling in your state by clicking
on this link: http://www.hslda.org/laws/default.asp.
We also recommend that you associate yourself with one of the more than 1300 homeschooling
organizations in your area. They can provide guidance regarding local policies.
To find an organization in your area, click on http://www.home-school.com/groups/. Some states require
that you provide a written curriculum. You can download a curriculum by clicking here. You might like to know that our citizenship
program is taught under the social studies heading.
When you register for Free World U, you will receive an acknowledgment letter attesting
to the fact that you have registered in our program. The credit version of our program
provides administrative reports that include subjects mastered as well as time spent
on a daily basis. Many activities that are part of the educational process will
be outside of the flashcard training program. You will be provided with a space
to record the time spent in these activities. This time will be included in the
administrative report and give the process a higher degree of credibility.
In the interest of efficiency, we don't handle paper documents. We ask that you
maintain custody of transcripts of previous educational work, vaccinations, and
health records.
Free World U is an institutional member of iNacol, the International Association
