What's New Student

Every week, we add hundreds of new standards-based flashcards to our website. In addition to creating flashcard content, some of our recent improvements include:

New For-Credit Program
We are now pleased to offer a brand new for-credit program to our paying students. The program will supply you with teachers, writing projects and assessments, grades, transcripts, and eventually a high school diploma. To read more, click here.

Student Assessment
We are adding student assessment functionality to the site as part of our new for-credit program. Find details by clicking here.

FAQ Page Added
A new FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) page has been added to the visitor's section of the site. It can be accessed here.

Reorganization in Progress
We have recently undertaken a significant reorganization of parts of our curriculum so that they are more in line with current state standards. Users may notice the numbers of cards in certain subtopics are changing. The system still remembers how a student answered every individual card but because of card movement, subtopics that were once complete may now be only partially complete and subtopics that were never started may now appear partially finished. Many new cards have been added during this process.

Audio Flashcards
We're in the process of adding high quality voice recordings to our flashcards to help students who cannot yet read. With a single click, flashcards will be read aloud to students. Our preschool and kindergarten flashcards already have audio, and we are working our way through the other early-elementary grades. We expect this to help students who struggle with literacy or English as a Second Language, as well as those students who learn best by hearing, rather than reading, information.

New User Tutorial Added
A tutorial aimed at getting new users acquainted with the site has been added to the visitor's section of the site. It can be accessed here.

Curriculum Document Added
A downloadable curriculum document is now available from the home page or by clicking here.
